The Metalcam heat treatment department has:
- n.12 methane gas-fired furnaces with 20 to 80 ton load capacities;
- n.2 electric furnaces with 10-20 ton load capacities;
- n.2 quenching tanks with 100 and 130m³ water capacities;
- n.2 quenching tanks with 100-110m³ polymeric solution capacities.
All furnaces are equipped with an automatic programming system controlled by a central computer and equipped with a cycle recording system.
Quenching tanks are equipped with a liquid cooling system that automatically trips when the bath reaches maximum possible temperature.
Metalcam, thanks to its long-term experience and the quality of its modern processing plants, can perform all types of standard heat treatments necessary to give
forgings the characteristics required by the customer and suitable for the final use to which the components where designed.
